With a resolution of 13 November 2015 the BDIF Management Board released upon his request Mr. Rossen Angueltchev, who performed jointly with Mr. Lazar Iliev the powers of trustee of Corporate Commercial Bank AD (in bankruptcy) – KTB AD (b).
By virtue of the same Resolution the BDIF Management Board appointed two other persons:
Mr. Angel Donov has an extensive experience as a jurist. Since 1998 he is a freelance lawyer, specialized in commercial, banking, financial, property and administrative law. As banks’ proxy he has participated in numerous bankruptcy proceedings of commercial companies and other claims and enforcement proceedings, where he safeguarded the interests of banks as a lender. As a lawyer Mr. Donov acted as legal advisor to Bulgarian and foreign holding and other corporate clients in the construction and chemical industry and the tourism sector, and was also their legal representative in cases concerning bankruptcy and commercial relationships with their counterparties.
Mr. Donov holds a Master’s degree in Law from Sofia University ‘St. Kliment Ohridski’. He has many specializations in the field of commercial and banking law. Mr. Donov has a good command of English and Russian.
By order of 1 October 2015 by the Deputy Governor of the BNB in charge of the Banking Supervision Department Mr. Donov was included in the list of eligible bank trustees.
Ms. Kristi Marinova has an extensive experience as an economist. She is a managing partner and a chief accountant in her own company (2003-2015), dealing with accounting and financial services and advice. The accounting firm she managed served a large number of banks and companies active in finance, manufacturing, trade and services. As a chief accountant Ms. Marinova has been involved in bankruptcy proceedings and liquidation of a significant number of commercial companies, including public enterprises.
Ms. Marinova holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Management from the University for National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia. She has a postgraduate specialization ’Accounting, Finance and Control’ and another postgraduate specialization in International Accounting Standards at the Institute for Postgraduate Studies at UNWE. She is developing a PhD thesis on ‘Investigation of cash flows, assessment and collection of receivables and capitalization of assets of an insolvent bank in the bankruptcy proceedings.’
Ms. Marinova has annually attended specializations in leading audit companies. She has a considerable management experience and high professional skills in finance and accounting. Ms. Marinova has a good command of English and Russian.
